WIN announces the suspension of publication

Hello fellow Outdoorsmen and women,

As many of you are aware these hard economic times have caused many problems in the business and private lives of nearly all Idahoans and WIN is no different. The financial meltdown of this past fall has hit us hard and try as we may we have not been able to sustain publication. We are currently trying to set WIN up for a re-launch to publish monthly beginning perhaps in the fall of 2009. The self reorganization has not been easy but is needed for WIN to survive. That is our goal. We anticipate WIN returning to a biweekly publication cycle as soon there after.

The past three years has been a great struggle but with great rewards in sharing the love of the outdoor way of life. The concerns, sagas, trials and triumphs of the wilds and wildlife of Idaho has not been an easy task at times but we feel it has been worth the effort for all WIN readers in Idaho and abroad who call the outdoors home. The loyalty of the readers, and equally important the loyalty of our small staff, has made that possible. Thank you to all.

Most of you are aware that WIN, like most all publications, financially lives off the advertisers who grace WIN with their presence, and for their past and hopefully future support I would personally like to thank them. I would ask that you, the readers and fans of WIN, think of them first when making a decision about your next outdoor or related purchase. They truly deserve our loyalty and support.

Until then, enjoy all that Idaho’s great outdoors has to offer!
